 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Giulia is the best of the best. You honestly couldn't find a better piano or voice teacher. My children's confidence have skyrocketed over the years thanks to her amazing instruction. She teaches my children discipline but also grows their passion and love for music. She helped my daughter have a better pitch for the song One Thousand Years and judges in the Lambeth Got Talent Show commented how amazing she memorized her song and that she could engage the audience at such a young age. One male judge even commented that she was going to be the next Katy Perry.

My daughter fights to go first every week and was playing piano and was able to sing and remember the lyrics to a Frank Sinatra song by age 3 and Lauren Daigle songs by age 4 thanks to Giulia's help.  My oldest can play piano and sing to the same song and learned Italian also thanks to Giulia's incredible instruction.
It is clear Nova Academy fosters a child's love for learning. Giulia is able to keep children engaged even when they are having challenging days. It is no surprise her studio has grown to well over 40 students. Her lessons have been the best addition to our homeschooling program and the children look forward to it each and every week.

The students always have input on the songs they perform which keeps things fun and exciting. The new location is beautiful!!!

Thank you so much! 💜 Having parents and family there to support the kids at our recitals means more than people probably realize. At the beginning of every recital, I always ask the parents who would like to come up on stage and sing first. Funny enough, I never seem to get any volunteers! 😂 I think that’s the moment they all realize just how much courage it actually takes for these kids to get up in front of a room full of people. They get nervous, they have fears, but they get up there anyway and do an amazing job. That’s a huge accomplishment on its own, and having their families in the audience cheering them on makes it even more special. What age should my child start?

Most children are ready to start around age 5 or 6, once they can follow simple instructions and stay focused for a short lesson. Every child is different, so the free intro lesson is the best way to find out whether yours is ready.

How long are the lessons?

We offer two lesson formats to suit every student. Younger students start with 25-minute lessons the perfect length to keep little ones focused and engaged. Older students and those looking to go deeper take 50-minute lessons, allowing more time for technique, repertoire, and theory. Not sure which is right for your child? We'll help you figure it out during your free intro lesson!

What performance opportunities are available?

At Nova Music Academy, we believe performing is just as important as practicing! We host 2–3 recitals per year where students perform for family and friends in a warm, supportive setting. Beyond recitals, our students also get the opportunity to perform at community events such as the Thorndale Winter Carnival giving them real-world stage experience in front of a live audience. Recitals and community performances are a highlight of the year a chance for kids to showcase how far they've come, build stage confidence, and feel proud of their hard work. Every student is encouraged to participate, regardless of level!
