We offer 25-minute lessons for younger or beginner students, and 50-minute lessons for older students ready to go deeper into technique, repertoire, and theory.

Students build a strong foundation through note reading, rhythm, scales, chords, technique and music theory, while gradually working toward complete songs they’re proud to play. Lessons progress at each child’s individual pace, so beginners can build confidence without feeling rushed and more experienced students can continue developing their skills.
Learning piano isn’t only about playing the right notes. Students also develop focus, patience, coordination, creativity and confidence. Regular recitals and community performance opportunities give students something exciting to work toward and a chance to celebrate how far they’ve come.

Most children are ready to begin around age 5 or 6, although readiness depends on each child’s attention span, interest and ability to follow instruction.
No previous piano experience is needed to get started. Our Beaverbrook Ave studio serves families across North and West London, including Oakridge, Hyde Park, White Hills, Fox Hollow, Sunningdale, Westmount, Byron, River Bend and surrounding areas. Do I need a piano at home?
You don’t need an expensive acoustic piano to get started. For beginners, a good-quality digital piano or keyboard can work well for practicing at home. What matters most is giving your child regular access to an instrument between lessons so they can reinforce what they’ve learned and build confidence.
