Nova Music Academy is a welcoming music studio in Northwest London, Ontario, offering personalized piano and singing lessons for kids. We help children discover their musical voice, build confidence, develop real musical skills, and experience the joy of performing in a positive and encouraging environment.
About Nova Music Academy is really about one simple idea: every child has their own musical spark. Our goal is to help each student discover it, develop it, and grow into a confident, creative musician at their own pace.

Giulia Medrea is the instructor behind Nova Music Academy, bringing experience as both a music teacher and performer to every lesson. Her approach combines musical skill development with patience, encouragement, and plenty of opportunities for students to build confidence.
Whether a child is learning their first notes at the piano, developing their singing voice, or preparing to perform on stage, Giulia adapts each lesson to the student’s personality, interests, goals, and learning style. Regular recitals and community performances give students the opportunity to celebrate their progress and experience the excitement of performing for an audience.
Giulia believes children learn best when they feel comfortable, supported, and excited to come to their lessons. Rather than using the same approach for every student, she gets to know each child and adapts lessons around what motivates them. From favourite songs and musical interests to individual goals and learning styles, lessons are designed to keep students engaged while steadily building strong musical foundations and confidence.

London, Ontario has no shortage of music teachers. Here’s why Nova families stay:
No two students follow the same path. Every lesson plan is built around your child's age, personality, interests, and goals
Our instructor brings professional stage experience into every lesson, teaching not just technique but genuine performance confidence
Students perform at 2 3 recitals per year and community events like the Thorndale Winter Carnival, giving them real goals to work toward
Month to month lessons mean you're never locked in. We earn your continued enrollment every single month
Including daytime slots for homeschool families
Students of all levels feel encouraged from day one, whether they've never touched a piano or have been singing for years
Just as a nova star lights up the sky, our goal at Nova Music Academy is to help every student discover their own musical spark and grow into a confident, creative performer who shines brighter with every lesson.
Music teaches children so much more than notes and rhythms. It teaches them to listen, to persist, to express themselves, and to be brave enough to perform in front of others. Those are life skills. And that’s what we’re really here to build.
